Discipleship Huddles are groups of 3 or 4 people who meet together 2x/month providing one more intimate friendship, accountability and encouragement in their faith and life. Huddle gatherings are centered around 3 simple yet revealing questions they ask each other:
1) What's been on your heart and mind lately?
2) What is God trying to teach or show you in the midst of that?
3) What specific action can you take over the next 2 weeks to honor God in that?
Jesus modeled 3 different kinds of spiritual formation groups in his own ministry that served different purposes. His congregation was about 70 people. He trained up a smaller group 12 disciples in his Master's course on Kingdom Living. Finally, he had an inner circle, or "Huddle," made up of Peter, James and John to whom he had more intimate interactions with.
